Born in New Zealand, the son of a Swiss Engineer, Heinz from a very young age quickly realized his passion and talent for design. Inspired and fascinated by visiting his fathers engineering firm, he observed the magical process of how products were produced. Having studied construction engineering and achieving his masters, he very quickly distinguished himself for work on numerous design projects.
Heinz Traber is a talented and successful product designer specializing in wrought Iron furniture products, largely metal and steel based, finishing his designs off with a range of fabrics including leather, suede and cloth. Other materials such as glass and wood are also regularly incorporated into the pieces depending on design and functionality. His passion and undertaking is to deliver stylish, high quality designs that will bring pleasure and enjoyment to his clients.
